Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is your service insured?

A: Yes, we know all the industry risks and therefore we have a full general liability insurance.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: No. Our quotes are free and non-binding. You only pay, once the carpet cleaning had been carried out and you have no remarks whatsoever. Also, the quote we’ll give you over the phone or at your e-mail is not binding at all.

Q: Do you offer urgent or early bookings?

A: Yes. You can request an urgent cleaning of your carpet, which depending on our daily schedule and availability can be carried out two hours after your call. As for the early bookings - you can book our services today, tomorrow, a week from now, even a month ahead. Keep in mind though, in order to cancel an appointment made far ahead in time, a 7 days notice is required.

Q: How can I reschedule an appointment?

A: We can do that, but first we need to check the your cleaner’s availability for the day you want us to come instead. If he/she’s not available, we will dispatch another one of our cleaning technicians.

Q: What if I’m not satisfied with the cleaner(s)?

A: Should this happen, we will quickly react and replace him/her with another cleaner of ours.

Q: What if the cleaner appointed to my case is sick?

A: In that case, we’ll send another cleaning technician so that we do not miss the appointment and do the job.

Q: Are you carpet cleaners vetted?

A: We have very strict policy in terms of staff recruitments. All our cleaning technicians have been police checked, and have all the papers that give them right to legally work in the UK. They are properly clothed and always wear overshoes during the cleaning procedure. They are constantly checked by our quality control managers for how they perform their duties and develop their skills.

Q: Can you hold the keys?

A: Yes, of course. We offer you three options: can leave us a set of keys with our team once they arrive. 2. You can also come by our office and leave your keys. 3 We can pick up your keys in advance. As you see, we are very flexible in key holding and there’s no need to stick with our cleaners for the entire duration of the appointment. There’s no risk of theft or property damage with us.

Q: Do I need to provide detergents?

A: We bring our own professional Prochem detergents, that have been tested and proved highly efficient. The solvents and dry cleaning shampoos that we use are not harmful to humans and domestic animals. However, If you insist on us using some specific cleaning detergents, we can do that as well but in that case we cannot guarantee the excellent end result we usually deliver.

Q: Can I order carpet cleaning and window cleaning at the same time?

A: Yes. We do provide cleaning of windows as well, and we could even give you a special discount for booking two or more services simultaneously. For more info, please ask our call center reps - they are ready to take your calls 24/7!

Q: Do you move furniture in order to clean underneath it?

A: Our cleaners are inspected to only move light furniture. Heavy items like king size beds, large sofas or wardrobes will not be moved - after all we do care about our employees health and we are not willing to push them to the point where they can be hurt or seriously injured.

Q: How long does it take for a carpet to dry?

A: It usually takes around 3hrs for any carpet to dry. Also, carpets that have been treated with Scotchgard take more than that - 4 to 5 hours. That is why we offer our clients quick dry solution: upon request, we can bring along a powerful air dryer that reduces drying time to 3.5 hrs.

Q: Tell me more about the fibre protection & cleaning methods you employ.

A: In our carpet care practice we apply either steam carpet cleaning or dry carpet cleaning.

  • Hot water extraction: widely known as “steam cleaning”, that particular cleaning technique uses steaming hot water (215°- 225°) which is mixed with a special detergent and then injected deep into your carpet’s fibres. The high temperature facilitates the deep penetration of detergent molecules into the tissue, thus extracting all dirt particles and killing microorganisms. At the end, all that filthy mix is sucked back through a powerful vacuum tube. This carpet cleaning method is very effective in removing germs and leaving almost no residue.
  • Dry cleaning: it is a low moisture cleaning approach, that uses dry compounds mixed with various cleaning solutions. It can be dry foam, dry chem or dry compound cleaning. In all cases, the substance is being carefully applied onto the carpet or upholstery surface, left for some time to make an impact and then sucked back. This method is mostly used when dealing with natural and other delicate fibres. Another advantage here is its drying time: there’s none!
  • Scotchgard protection: upon request, we add a layer of protective spray that can prevent dirt particles and allergens from amassing deeply into your carpet’s fibres.
